Empowering Futures Through Access to Quality Education

At the Sir Pius Ufudo Foundation, we believe that education is the most powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty and create lasting change. Our commitment to education is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to learn, dream, and thrive.

Why Education Matters

In many rural communities, access to quality education is limited by poverty, poor infrastructure, and lack of resources. Through our education initiatives, we aim to give children in Nnobi and neighboring communities the opportunity to learn in safe, supportive, and inspiring environments.

We don’t just build schools—we build futures.

Key Education Initiatives

St. Theresa Nursery & Primary School

We provided modern classrooms, sanitation facilities, playgrounds, and furniture through the Sir Pius Ufudo Complex, giving children the environment they deserve to thrive academically and socially.

Fred Uchenna Udeaja Library

With over 14,000 books across every discipline, this fully equipped library serves as a hub for academic research, reading, and self-development for students and adults alike

Scholarships & Academic Support

Each year, we award scholarships to over 50 deserving students—from primary school to university—ensuring that financial challenges do not stand in the way of education.

Learning Highlights

We understand that the future is digital. That’s why we organize free annual IT and computer training bootcamps for students from primary to university level. Over 500 young people have already gained valuable digital skills in:

  • Basic Computing

  • Scratch Programming

  • Web Design

  • Content Creation

We also host the Annual Nnobi Secondary Schools Mathematics Quiz Competition, inspiring academic excellence and rewarding the brightest minds.

Education extends beyond textbooks. Through our Movie Saturdays, we expose children to inspiring stories, foster creativity, and encourage critical thinking.

We also host monthly birthday celebrations for pupils and teachers, creating joyful moments that build self-esteem and a sense of belonging.

  • 500+ students trained in ICT and digital literacy

  • 50+ scholarships awarded annually

  • 14,000+ books accessible at our public library

  • Countless smiles through monthly school celebrations
