In a move that blends sustainability with community empowerment, the Foundation established the Ifite Ogbeadiji Roads Maintenance Team — a group of dedicated individuals employed and equipped to keep the roads and drainage systems of the community in excellent condition.
By paying their monthly salaries and providing essential tools and training, the Foundation has ensured that this is not a one-off effort, but a sustainable program that delivers visible results. Today, Ifite’s roads are free from grass, dirt, and debris, while its gutters remain unclogged, ensuring smooth water drainage and reducing the risk of flooding and erosion.
This initiative has:
